In this episode of the Process, Kate is joined by her long time friend and collaborator Elitia Daniels. Elitia is an actor, writer, director, producer, and all around creative powerhouse. Elitia shares about her non-traditional upbringing, getting hazed in theatre school, and struggling to figure out how to grow up as an artist in late stage capitalism. Kate and Elitia share about their new short film project, The Pearl, set in the indie music scene in East Atlanta Village, and their participation in the Georgia Film Rally. Elitia also give some deep knowledge about the inner workings of the big film sets she’s worked on and gives invaluable advice to actors.
